Miami FC Hires Three Senior Professionals

MIAMI - September 27, 2016 - The Miami FC, Miami's only professional soccer team, has added three senior leaders to the Club's front office staff in its inaugural season in the North American Soccer League (NASL).  

"As part of our dedication to developing a world-class professional soccer club for the Miami community, we've added several talented professionals who combine diverse experience with knowledge of the soccer world and the South Florida sports landscape," said Miami FC CEO Sean Flynn. "Just like our talent on the pitch, our front office plays a major role in establishing Miami FC as a premier sports organization, and we look forward to further enhancing our team."  

Anthony Tome serves the Miami FC's vice president of corporate partnerships after 14 years as director of corporate partnerships with the Miami Marlins. Tome played an instrumental role in the development of client relationships as well as maintaining and building on existing partnerships during the club's transition from Florida Marlins to the Miami Marlins. With Miami FC, Tome will oversee corporate partnerships, business development, sponsorships and client services. He will also focus on developing the Club's strategic efforts to generate new revenue streams.  

Matt Britten joins the Miami FC as vice president of marketing Matt brings more than 15 years of experience as a successful marketer, including his time as former director of marketing for the Miami Marlins. Day-to-day Britten leads marketing operations for the Miami FC, including advertising, branding, promotions, game presentation, entertainment, retail, fan development, grassroots efforts and support programs for corporate partnerships and ticket Sales.    

Lenny Santiago comes to Miami FC as vice president of public relations and communication. Santiago brings expertise from working as vice president of communications for Orlando City Soccer Club, one of the leading clubs in Major League Soccer (MLS). Beforehand, he was the senior director of public relations at Daytona International Speedway, where he was responsible for strategy development, messaging and media outreach to promote events, such as the DAYTONA 500 ®. Santiago oversees all aspects of Miami FC's international and domestic communication, including strategy development, messaging, community and charitable outreach, and digital and social media. His team also manages game-day media operations and crisis management.
