AUSTIN - The Austin Spurs (3- 4) fell to the Mexico City Capitanes (5-2), 117-110, at the HEB Center at Cedar Park on Sunday afternoon.

Alize Johnson paced the Spurs with his second straight double-double finishing with 27 points, 10 rebounds and 4 assists in 38 minutes. Chaundee Brown Jr. added 24 points to go with 4 assists.

Justin Keir added posted 17 points and 5 assists off the bench while Kenneth Faried chipped in with 13.

The Capitanes took control early and led 57-52 at half. Mexico City would continue to build on their lead in the third quarter outscoring Austin 33-26 to take 90-78 into the final period. The Spurs would the cut the deficit to five, 115-110, with just under a minute left but couldn't get any closer.

Three Mexico City players scored 20-or-more led by Gary Clark with 27 points and 10 rebounds. Bruno Caboclo tallied 26 points, 9 rebounds and 6 blocks while Jahlil Okafor added 20 points off the bench.
