Mets Open Home Series vs. Stone Crabs on Tuesday

PORT ST. LUCIE, Fla. - The St. Lucie Mets open up a three-game home series with the Charlotte Stone Crabs on Tuesday at Tradition Field. All three games (Tuesday-Thursday) begin at 6:30 p.m. with gates opening at 5:30 p.m.
Highlighting the home stand will be Military Appreciation Night on Thursday sponsored by the Vietnam Veterans of America Michael J. Bradley Chapter 566. The Mets will wear special military themed jerseys sponsored by Treasure Coast Roofing. There will be a silent auction for the jerseys during the game.
A portion of the tickets sold through the VVA Michael F. Bradley Chapter 566 will benefit the Health and Wellness Fund of the VVA. To purchase tickets or to receive a free ticket if you are a veteran or active military member contact Joe Lusardi at 772-579-5730.
The VVA will be taking donations for raffle items including grills from Lowe's, prints from Bass Pro Shop and a Curtis Granderson Mets camo jersey.
The Mets will be recognizing many veterans, as well as families of those veterans, so fans are encouraged to wear red, white and blue to support for veterans and active military.
The following is a list of other promotions and activities on tap.
Tuesday - 6:30 p.m.
-Burger King Customer Appreciation Night: Fans can stop by the Burger Kings on St. Lucie West Blvd., Gatlin Blvd. and US 1 to pick up free tickets to the game.
-For $15 fans can get two tickets, two hot dogs and two sodas.
-$2 general admission tickets for followers of @stluciemets on Twitter.
-Silver Sluggers Night: Silver Sluggers members receive free admission and a free hot dog.
-Baseball bingo (free for all fans).
Wednesday - 6:30 p.m.
-All You Can Eat and a Seat: For $15 fans can enjoy a smorgasbord of all-you-can-eat hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, macaroni salad, popcorn, $2 soda and water and $2 beer. Price includes a game ticket.
Thursday - 6:30 p.m.
-Dollar Night: $2 draft beers, $1 soda, $1 hot dogs and $1 popcorn. Purchase a special Mets solo cup for $10 and receive $1 beer refills on every Dollar Night the remainder of the season.
The next time the Mets play at Tradition Field is Friday, June 3. That day is School's Out Night. The Zooperstars will make an appearance and all Treasure Coast students get free admission to the game.
