Bradenton Marauders News Release
Bradenton, FL- The Marauders (22-21) dropped the fourth and final game of their series with the Dunedin Blue Jays (19-26) by a final of 6-2.
The Marauders outhit the Blue Jays 11-10, but they were 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and left 15 runners on base.
Jays starter Kyle Westwood went 5.2 innings giving up only a run and a walk while striking out 3. Jason Leblebijian went 4-for-5 with a solo home run, 2 RBI's, and 2 runs scored.
Anthony Alford (1-for-2, 1 RBI, 1 BB, 1 R) opened the scoring for the Jays in the fourth inning with a sacrifice fly to right field.
Marauders catcher Taylor Gushue (3-for-4, HR) answered back with a solo home run in the sixth inning.
Michael De La Cruz (1-for-4, 2 RBI) hit a two-run double in the eighth to give the Jays some insurance.
RHP Austin Coley (6-3) started for the Marauders and went 6.1 innings giving up 6 hits, 3 runs (2 earned), and a walk while striking out 4.
