
Mets' INF Ronny Cedeno Joins Bisons on MLB Injury Rehab

New York Mets' INF RONNY CEDENO has joined the Buffalo Bisons on a Major League injury rehabilitation assignment. Cedeno is scheduled to play shortstop and bat second for the Bisons tonight against the Pawtucket Red Sox (7:05 p.m.). Cedeno will wear #10.
Cedeno, 29, was placed on the disabled list by the Mets on May 30 (retroactive to May 27) because of a strained left calf. In 25 games with New York, the infielder has averaged .231 (15-65) with a home run and seven RBI.
Cedeno hit .249 (103-413) with two home runs and 32RBI in 128 games with the Pirates in 2011.
