TODAY'S GAME: Tonight, the Buffalo Bisons host the Pawtucket Red Sox in the second game of a four-game series at Coca-Cola Field (7:05 p.m.). The Herd was shutout by the Red Sox by a score of 5-0 last night. The Bisons are 19-14 at Coca-Cola Field this season.

vs. RED SOX: The Bisons are 2-3 against the Red Sox this season as they split a pair of two-games sets and dropped the first game last night. Buffalo is now five games behind Pawtucket in the IL North Division (T3rd). The Herd has not won a season series from Pawtucket since 2008 but are 115-113 (.504) against the Red Sox since returning to the IL in 1998.

DEALIN' DYLAN: RHP DYLAN OWEN takes the mound for his sixth start of the season. The righty is coming off a no-decision against Norfolk on June 10 (4.2IP, 2ER, 2K). In his three starts at Coca-Cola Field, Owen is 2-0 with a 2.04ERA and 13 strikeouts in 17.2 innings of work.

MR. JT: INF JUSTIN TURNER went 1-4 in the first game of his MLB injury rehab assignment. The Mets placed Turner on the DL on May 29 with a sprained right ankle. He hit .269 (18-67) with five doubles and 10RBI in 33 games with New York this season. Turner played 88 games with the Bisons from 2010-2011 and has a career .330 average with Buffalo.

CEDENO: INF RONNY CEDENO joins the Herd today on an MLB rehab assignment. The Mets' placed Cedeno on the DL on May 27 with a strained left calf. The infielder hit .231 (15-65) with a homer and 7RBI in 25 games with New York this season. In 2011, he hit .249 (103-413) with 25 doubles and 32RBI in 128 games with the Pittsburgh Pirates.

BISONS BITS: RHP PEDRO BEATO lost his seven game scoreless streak (12.1IP) after giving up an unearned run last night...LHP JUSTIN HAMPSON is tied for second in the IL with six holds this season...RHP FERNANDO CABRERA leads the IL with 15 saves...RHP MATT HARVEY struck out 10 batters last night. This is the third time the righty has fanned at least 10 in a start, the last coming on May 18 against Gwinnett, when he had 11K. He leads the Bisons with 74 strikeouts this season.

METS UPDATE : The Mets (35-29) completed the sweep of the Rays with 9-6 win yesterday. Former Bisons OF KIRK NIEUWEHUIS hit two home runs and had three RBI. INF IKE DAVIS also drove in a pair for New York. The Mets return to Citi Field for a three-game set with the Cincinnati Reds that begins tonight (7:10 p.m.).
