
Gwinnett Braves Announce "All-Star Weekend"

LAWRENCEVILLE, GA. - Atlanta Braves alumni Dale Murphy, David Justice, Ryan Klesko and Javy Lopez will take part in "All-Star Weekend" at Coolray Field on Saturday, June 30 and Sunday, July 1, sponsored by Springer Mountain Farms. The former Braves greats will be on hand to sign autographs and meet with fans as part of the Gwinnett Braves' weekend series with Charlotte.
Justice and Lopez, both members of Atlanta's 1995 World Series championship squad, will be present on Saturday, June 30. Justice will meet with fans holding Home Plate Club tickets from 6:00 to 6:30 PM, and both he and Lopez will throw out ceremonial first pitches prior to the 7:05 PM game. Justice and Lopez will then sign autographs on the Coolray Field main concourse from 7:00 to 8:30 PM.
Klesko, also of the '95 team, and Murphy, the 1982 and 1983 National League MVP while with the Braves, will appear on Sunday, July 1. Murphy will take part in a special "meet and greet" session with fans holding Home Plate Club tickets from 4:00 to 4:30 PM. He and Klesko will each throw out ceremonial first pitches prior to the 5:05 PM game, then will sign autographs on the Coolray Field main concourse from 5:00 to 6:30 PM.
Autographs with all four players will be on a first-come, first-serve basis, limit one (1) item per person.
"All-Star Weekend" also includes a Gwinnett Braves pennant giveaway, sponsored by Springer Mountain Farms. The first 1,000 fans on both days will receive the pennant.
