Noah Syndergaard pitched four scoreless innings in his debut with the Mets and Cam Maron had an RBI double help lift St. Lucie past the Jupiter Hammerheads 1-0 at Roger Dean Stadium on Sunday.

Angel Cuan tossed 3 2/3 scoreless innings to pick up the victory in relief. Chasen Bradford earned his first save, recording the final four outs of the game.
The Mets took the lead in the second inning on an opposite field double down the left field line by Maron, scoring Aderlin Rodriguez from first.
Jupiter threatened in the ninth inning, but Dustin Lawley threw out Austin Barnes at home plate to end the game.
The Mets visit the Palm Beach Cardinals at 6:35 p.m. on Tuesday in the opener of a three-game series. Luis Mateo is the scheduled starter for the Mets.
