The Harrisburg Heat opened up a four goal lead in the first quarter and then coasted to a 9-5 win over the visiting Mississauga MetroStars in a MASL Eastern Division clash Sunday afternoon at the PA Farm Show Arena in Harrisburg, PA.

? ?Following a surprising home win over the Milwaukee Wave Saturday night, the Heat started quickly with Tavoy Morgan netting his team leading 10th goal of the season just over a minute after the opening kickoff to put Harrisburg ahead. Vesko Konov, Julian Escobar and William Eskay rounded out the Heat scoring in that first quarter of play.

? ?Mo Babouli opened Mississauga's account just 1:11 into the second quarter as he slammed a free kick from the top of the arc for his 15th goal of the season. But Eskay restored the Heat's four-goal advantage at 5:58 and then, just 42 seconds before halftime, Danny Di Prima fired a strike from just inside the yellow line that MetroStars 'keeper Adrian Becic couldn't handle to give Harrisburg a 6-1 lead at the break.

? ?Shaq Agard opened the third quarter with his 2nd goal of the season to narrow the deficit once again but Danny Villela netted his 6th of the year with just over a minute to play to put the Heat ahead 7-2 after 45 minutes.

? ?The MetroStars opened the fourth quarter with Babouli deployed as a sixth attacker and the tactic worked as Darren Chambers took a pass from Marco Rodriguez and beat Heat keeper William Benahene with a low shot from in close. But just nine seconds later, Ricardo Carvalho smashed a close range shot to the roof of the net to open an 8-3 lead. Just 1:35 later, Josip Keran narrowed the deficit once again for Mississauga with a low shot from just outside the arc.

? ?But with less than a minute to play, Villela scored his second of the game and seventh of the season to put the Heat ahead 9-4. The MetroStars would score the game's final goal however with just ten seconds to play in the match as Matthew Rios collected a rebound off the end boards and fired home for his 8th of the year.

It was the Heat's first win of the season over the MetroStars, improving their record to 5-9 while Mississauga's record on the season falls to 3-13.

? ?The MetroStars return home to the Paramount Fine Foods Arena next Sunday March 3 to face the Baltimore Blast. Kickoff is 3:05pm (ET).
