PSTGAME NOTES:

- Reign held to four shots in the opening period. San Antonio countered with 12 including forward Sam Blais' season-opening marker at 10:48.

- Jordan Schmaltz made it 2-0 Rampage at 2:17 of second period and earned the eventual game-winning goal.

- Michael Mersch grabs first Reign goal of 2017-18 with an unassisted goal off a steal from the Rampage goalie, Spencer Martin, at 13:23.

- Bokondji Imama earns his first professional fight at 13:31 of the second period vs. Mason Geertsen.

- Reign goaltender Jack Campbell made 30 saves in the loss. Rampage keeper Spencer Martin provided 18 saves in the win.

- Reign forward Justin Auger appeared in his 200th professional game tonight.
