MEMPHIS, Tennessee - Memphis 901 FC standouts Duane Muckette and Leston Paul have been called-up to represent Trinidad & Tobago national team in the 2019 CONCACAF Gold Cup, the association announced on Thursday.

Thursday's announcement marks the third time this season that both Muckette and Paul have been called to international duty while with 901 FC. Both players have already joined their international squad and played in Trinidad & Tobago's international friendly Tuesday against Japan.

"I think for Duane and Leston, this presents a tremendous opportunity to represent their country in a really special tournament," 901 FC Head Coach Tim Mulqueen said. "There have been some really great games played and we've seen players come of age in that tournament.

"I'm excited for both of those guys and we're really proud of them."

Paul and Muckette have more than a dozen appearances for Trinidad & Tobago combined. Prior to playing against Japan Tuesday, both players traveled to Wales on March 20 with Memphis teammate Triston Hodge to take part in Trinidad & Tobago's friendly against the Welsh national team.

The CONCACAF Gold Cup is the confederation's premier event for national teams, crowning a champion every two years. CONCACAF is the continental governing body for association football in North America, which includes Central America and the Caribbean region.

Memphis 901 FC is back in action this weekend and tickets for the June 8 fixture are now available.
