
Melancon Rejoins Admirals Ahead of Weekend

Norfolk, VA. - Defenseman TJ Melancon has been released from his PTO with the Syracuse Crunch and will return to the club, the Admirals announced on Thursday afternoon.
Melancon, who ranks eighth among all ECHL defensemen in points (42), is fourth on the team in points (14g, 28a) during his rookie campaign. He ranked second among all defensemen in goals (14) at the time of his recall to Syracuse. In four games with the Crunch the Oshawa, ON native registered five shots, in addition to a plus-one rating. It was the defenseman's second stint in the AHL this season after appearing in a few games with Belleville in December.
The defenseman is expected to be available tomorrow night when the Admirals take on the Kalamazoo Wings tomorrow night at the Scope.
