Media Veteran and Sales Executive Bill Blake Joins Panthers

MORGAN HILL, California - The Bay Area Panthers (@panthersifl) of the Indoor Football League (@IndoorIFL) welcome veteran media and sales executive, Bill Blake, as the team's new Director of Sponsorship Sales.

Blake will report directly to Team Vice-President Javier Ortiz who is leading the announcement. Ortiz said, "Bill is an exceptional addition to our team. With his 28+ years of sales leadership experience, he truly understands the media and marketing landscape of how to meet the needs of local, regional and national businesses. Connecting our sponsors' needs to our dynamic Panthers Team Solutions will be his main priority. Bill has been a recognized leader in sports media sales representing properties such as Pre-Season Oakland Raiders, NFL 49ers broadcasts, Super Bowl, World Cup, NCAA March Madness and many more high profile sports and event entities. We're excited to welcome Bill and his family to the Bay Area Panthers family."

Blake most recently was GM/Owner of a radio group and President of Sales for a Hispanic National Rep-Firm for TV and Radio.

Prior to that, Blake was Local Sales Manager for 5 years at Cox Media Virginia Beach and before that he was National Sales Manager for 7 years at Cox owned KICU TV36/KTVU Plus in the San Francisco Bay Area.

Blake's background includes extensive experience cultivating national, regional and local business. Blake started at Blair/KICU in San Francisco as an Assistant and then attended Antonelli Media School in New York. Blake got his start in sales in Monterey, CA at KCCN (CBS) as an Account Executive. Blake then returned to New York and began as an Account Executive with the Cox owned rep firm HRP and then KATZ-New York. Blake also worked as an Account Executive at BET Cable Network in New York for 5 years. Prior to KICU TV36, Blake served as an Account Executive at legacy television station, KCAL9/CBS2 in Los Angeles.

Bill and wife Yvonne returned to the Bay Area in 2022. Their son is currently attending St. Andrews University in Scotland. Blake is a graduate of Siena Heights University, with a Bachelor of Arts degree and is a former student-athlete who played collegiate soccer.
