
Mechanics tame Vipers, win 3-1!

FRASER, MI - Chris Gignac ices the game with an empty net goal late in the third as the Mechanics take the game 3-1 tonight at the Great Lakes Sports City Superior Arena.
Tom Kotsopoulos started the scoring 1:48 into the game followed up by a Roanoke goal to end the first period tied at 1-1.
From there on out the Mechanics took control as they scored two more goals including the empty net goal to ice the game at 3-1.
Adam Edinger netted his 39th goal of the season followed by Gignacs 13th of the season.
Rob Branch made his 55th start of the season making 26 saves for his 28th win of the season.
The Mechanics return to action next Friday against the Missouri River Otters and face the Flint Generals on Saturday in Flint and face Flint at home on Sunday.
