Motor City Mechanics News Release
Fraser, MI â The Motor City Mechanics are pleased to announce that they will be on the air for the first time this season Sunday, November 21st when the Mechanics take on the Missouri River Otters. The Mechanics will broadcast Sunday's game as well as the remainder of the season on 1310 AM WXDX.
The Mechanics would like to introduce Adam Kaufman as their broadcaster. Adam is a native of Boston, Massachusetts and a recent graduate of Syracuse University. He spent last season in the New York Penn League with the Auburn Doubledays.
The pre-game show will begin at 7:15 pm and the puck will be dropped at 7:35 pm. Karen Newman will be on hand to perform the National Anthem as well as sign autographs on the concourse. The first 1,000 fans through the doors will receive Thundersticks courtesy of C&G Newspapers and 106.7 The Drive. Souvenir programs will also be on sale for the first time this season.
