Mechanics clarify roster position

Fraser, MI – The Motor City Mechanics would like to clarify that no current Mechanics player will suffer the loss of their job with the addition of three veterans.

"Nobody loses their job with the addition of Hatcher, Chelios and Draper," Mechanics President John Tull said. "We are abiding by the United Hockey League rules which allows us to manage a 20 man active roster. We can play seven veterans in this league and we will continue to rotate those roster spots, therefore no one is losing their job."
