Adirondack Phantoms News Release
PHILADELPHIA - The Philadelphia Phantoms have announced a pair of roster moves in advance of Wednesday night's game with the Binghamton Senators at the Wachovia Spectrum. The Flyers have reassigned center Kiel McLeod to the Phantoms from the Trenton Titans, and have reassigned defenseman Stephen Wood from the Phantoms to the Titans.
The 6-6, 230-pound McLeod found a scoring touch in Trenton, tallying five goals and adding four assists for nine points in eight games: 8(5-4-9). The Flyers acquired McLeod from the Phoenix Coyotes in exchange for Eric Chouinard on Dec. 28 and assigned him to the Phantoms. He appeared in 10 games without a point before going to Trenton on February 4.
Wood returns to Trenton after enjoying the longest of his three trips to the AHL this season. The 6-2, 211-pound blueliner was recalled on January 10 and appeared in 13 games since then, notching a goal and three assists during his stay: 13(1-3-4). On January 29, the Providence College graduate returned to his college town and scored the first AHL goal of his career, helping the Phantoms to a 5-3 win over the Providence Bruins.
McLeod will be available when the Phantoms host the Binghamton Senators on Wednesday night at 7:05 at the Wachovia Spectrum. The game follows the Phantoms First Annual Career Fair, which takes place on the Spectrum concourse from 3:00 to 5:30. Those looking for jobs or internships in the sports industry will have a chance to meet with representatives from 13 area professional teams and hear the stories of several sports professionals. Tickets to the career fair include admission to the game, and are available at the door.
Tickets to all Phantoms games are available online at www.phantomshockey.com or by phone at (215) 336-2000, (856) 338-9000 or (302) 984-2000. As always, kids tickets for all Phantoms games are just $8.00.
