
McConnachie Joins Oilers

With left winger Jake Riddle placed on injured reserve, the Tulsa Oilers have signed Brett McConnahie, who has played in the past with Oklahoma City and Amarillo in the Central Hockey League.
"With Jake's injury we feel fortunate to find a player with Brett's experience available," Oilers coach Dan Hodge said. He added McConnachie will be in the line up when the Oilers play at Wichita Wednesday night.
McConnachie, 5-11, 200 pounds, began his pro season with Fresno in the ECHL and later joined Oklahoma City in 2007-08. He finished last season and started this season with Amarillo.
The Oilers are in the midst of a three game set with Wichita.
Following Wednesday's game, the two teams will play at the BOK Center
Friday at 7:35 p.m. The Oilers will host Odessa Saturday at 7:35 p.m.
