
MBFC Loans Sam Strong to Central Valley Fuego FC

SEASIDE, Calif. - Monterey Bay F.C. announces today that the club has agreed to loan defender Sam Strong to Central Valley Fuego FC for the rest of the season.
Strong's debut for the Crisp and Kelp came on April 9 against El Paso Locomotive FC in Week 5 of the USL Championship regular season. He went on to make three appearances for the club and recorded eight clearances, five interceptions, five tackles and one block in 191 minutes.
"Sam is still in the development stage of his career, and needs matches," said Monterey Bay F.C. Sporting Director and Head Coach Frank Yallop. "I think this is the perfect opportunity for both clubs to ensure he gets as many games as possible. We wish Sam the best through the end of the season."
Transaction: Monterey Bay F.C. has loaned defender Sam Strong to Central Valley Fuego FC for the remainder of the 2022 campaign.
