FULL GAME NOTES ATTACHED BELOW

LAST MAYHEM MATCHUP: Last weekend, the Mayhem played two games in Peoria, losing game one 4-3 in a shootout and losing the latter game 5-4. Macon trailed both games 2-0 in the first period but were able to make them close games before eventually losing.

ALL-TIME SERIES: This will be the 4th all-time meeting for the two teams and the first this season. The Havoc lead the all-time series 2-1.

HIGH FLYING HAVOC: The Huntsville Havoc lead the SPHL in scoring with 112 goals (4.0 goals per game). Their active roster includes four of the top 10 scorers in the league (Nutkevitch, Daniels, Wood, Educate). The team also claims the top four spots in plus-minus rating (Kaiser, Stefan, Nutkevitch, Carriveau).

HEATING UP: While the Mayhem have lost their past two games, a few players have been heating up recently. Stephen Pierog scored his first goal since 11/26/16 this weekend and has scored four points in his past four games. Stathis Soumelidis scored in both games vs. Peoria and also has four points in his last four games.

NOT-SO-POWER PLAY : The Mayhem's PP still ranks 1st in the SPHL (20.5%), but over the past three games, Macon has gone 0/13 on the power play.

A LOOK TO THE FUTURE: The Knoxville Ice Bears come to Macon Saturday, January 21st at 7:35 PM. Next Friday, the Mayhem play a home-and-home with the Pensacola Ice Flyers, with the front end being played at the Macon Coliseum.
