
May leads Catfish to another comeback

Columbus, GA - The second game of the series between the Columbus Catfish (24-28) and Kannapolis Intimidators (18-32) was another comeback win for the home team. In the seventh inning RF Lucas May hit his fourth home run in four games for the eventual final score of 4-2.
The Intimidators took a 1-0 lead in the first inning with an RBI single by LF Aaron Cunningham. 2B Eric Mesa's single in the seventh inning made it 2-0.
The Catfish responded with two runs in the bottom of the seventh inning. SS Ivan DeJesus led off with a single and moved to second on a balk. He scored on a single by 2B Travis Denker. Columbus then loaded the bases and scored a run when RF Chris Jensen was hit by a pitch.
May continued his hot streak in the eighth inning. With two outs Denker walked before May slammed his 15th homer of the season.
RHP Dave Horlacher allowed just two runs in seven innings. He was followed by RHP Jordan Pratt, who pitched 1 1/3 scoreless innings. RHP Ramon Troncoso closed the win to earn his fifteenth save.
