Columbus Catfish News Release

Columbus, GA - After recently canceled Columbus Catfish games, the team has rescheduled promotions which would otherwise be lost. New dates have been set for Kiss-A-Catfish as well as Latino Night.

Kiss-A-Catfish is now Friday, August 18. Ladies ages 16 and up, here is your chance to Kiss-A-Catfish. Three handsome Catfish have volunteered their time to be auctioned off to the highest bidder, who will be awarded the opportunity to plant a kiss on the cheek of one lucky young gentleman. All proceeds from winning bids will go to Special Olympics of Georgia. RHP Arismendy Castillo, OF Adam Godwin and mascot Hook are prepared to do their civic duty for the benefit of a worthwhile cause.

The cultural fiesta planned for Latino Night will take place Sunday, August 27 when the Catfish face the Charleston RiverDogs at 6:00pm. Viva 1460 AM and the Catfish have teamed up for an evening of cultural excitement. On August 27 the festivities at Golden Park will be accented to highlight Latin-American heritage. From music to promotions, even unique food choices will be available in the concourse.

Wednesday Columbus battles Kannapolis in game two of a four-game series at 5:00pm. For tickets or more information call (706) 571-8866 or visit www.ColumbusCatfish.com.
