Lynx Notes
In her last regular season game at College Park Center, Sylvia Fowles scored 14 points, grabbed a game-high nine rebounds and had a game-high four blocks, accounting for the most blocks by a single Lynx player this season. She added a team-high three steals.
Fowles' 14 points came from 6-of-9 shooting from the field, including 10 points on a perfect 4-of-4 at half. Her nine boards were all defensive, bumping her career defensive rebound total to surpass the 2,700 mark (currently at 2,703).
In 25:07 minutes, Moriah Jefferson tallied 14 points, a team-high-tying four assists, two steals and one rebound in her first return to Dallas. Moriah has led Minnesota in assists in four of the five games she has appeared since joining the team.
Jessica Shepard registered 14 points, connecting on 5-of-7 from the field and a perfect 4-of-4 from the line. She added three rebounds, two assists, one steal and one block. This is Shepard's second time shooting perfect from the free-throw line this season.
With her second three of the night, Kayla McBride passed Roneeka Hodges for 25th on the WNBA All-Time three-pointers list with 390. She recorded 14 points, on 4-of-15 shooting, two rebounds and two assists to conclude the game.
Playing against Dallas for the first time since signing to the Lynx, Aerial Powers finished tonight's game with 12 points, four rebounds and two assists, marking her fourth double-digit point performance this season.
Team Notes
The Lynx had a slight advantage in points in the paint with 36 compared to the Wings' 32.
The Lynx return home to Target Center to take on the New York Liberty on Tuesday, May 24. Tip is set for 7:00 p.m. CT and will broadcast on Bally Sports North Extra.
Dallas Wings Notes
Marina Mabrey led with a game-high 22 points, connecting on 9-of-14 from the field, including 3-of-5 from deep. She added five rebounds, three assists and one steal.
