Ed McGrane registered two points on the night on a goal and an assist. John-Scott Dickson scored his fourth goal in his last two games, but the Bucks added a late goal in regulation and skated away with the victory. Rusty Masters tied the game three minutes later for Laredo. Mark Nebus and Matt Boyd assisted on the goal. The Bucks took the lead late in the period on a goal by Neil Trimm, but the Mavs responded with a John-Scott Dickson equalizer with 57 seconds left in the period. The Mavs and Bucks piled up 31 combined shots in the period, with the Bucks holding a 16-15 edge over the home squad.
