The Mavericks and PrairieThunder meet in a big Turner Conference game on Wednesday night as the Mavericks trail the PrairieThunder by four points in the standings with seven games remaining on the schedule. Bloomington also has a game-in-hand on the Mavericks as the teams head into the final two weeks of the regular season. Wednesday's game is the third and final game between the teams during the regular season and the Mavericks are 0-1-1 against Bloomington with a pair of one goal losses, but the teams have not met since November 24 at Independence Events Center.

Missouri and Wichita clash three times in five days starting on Friday night at Independence Events Center. The next three games will all be at the IEC where the Mavericks are 1-0-2 against the Thunder this season. The teams were originally scheduled to play two games, but the game on Tuesday, February 1st was postponed to Tuesday, March 22nd due to weather conditions. Overall, the Mavericks are 2-4-2 against the Thunder this season after going 10-0-0 during the Mavs' inaugural season. Wichita has outscored the Mavericks 29-20 overall in the eight games and each team has one shutout win. Currently the Thunder trail the Mavericks by just two points for fourth place in the Turner Conference.

Saturday, March 20 - Missouri Mavericks vs. Mississippi RiverKings, 5:05 p.m. CST **NOTE EARLY START TIME**

The RiverKings come to the IEC for the fifth and final game between the teams this season. After losing the first three games to Mississippi, the Mavericks won a 1-0 shutout in the last game on February 8. The second and third periods have been the difference in the season series as the RiverKings have outscored the Mavericks 10-3 combined in those two periods.

Join the Orange Army - The Mavericks have unveiled the team's playoff logo and slogan for the 2011 Presidents' Cup Playoffs, and the team is asking fans to join the Orange Army. The Mavericks encourage fans to wear orange to all of the team's playoff games throughout the 2011 Ray Miron Presidents' Cup Playoffs. Independence Events Center will serve as home base throughout the playoffs, and the Mavericks will theme all of the in-game experience around the Orange Army with new playoff graphics and signage throughout Independence Events Center.
Fan Appreciation Night - The Mavericks are hosting Fan Appreciation Night this Friday when the team hosts the Wichita Thunder. MoDOT will give away 5,000 orange pennants, and there will be giveaways throughout the night as the Mavs honor the Best Fans in the CHL.
Faith and Family Night - Aaron Hale Band will perform after the Mavericks game on Sunday, March 20 for Faith and Family Night. It is also a post-game skate with the team, and fans are encouraged to stick around for the show and skating.
Army Pushup Contest - The U.S. Army will officiate the high school pushup contest during the first intermission on Saturday night when the Mavericks host the Wichita Thunder.
Zucca Drawstrings - Zucca Roofing is giving away orange drawstring bags to the first 3,000 fans to Saturday's game.
Mac's Belated Birthday - The Mavericks will celebrate Mac's Belated Birthday Party on Tuesday, March 22 against the Wichita Thunder. The first 2,000 fans will receive a Mac Bobblehead, and Price Chopper Two-for-One tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 15.
Save the Date - The Mavericks will host the MAC Awards at The Lone Wolf Bar at Isle of Capri Casino on the evening of Monday, March 28. More information will be available soon on www.MissouriMavericks.com.

Big Week Ahead - The Mavericks will play five games in seven nights starting this Wednesday when the team travels to Bloomington. Missouri will play the Wichita Thunder in three of those games, and the Thunder trail the Mavericks in the standings by just two points. Missouri has seven games left in the regular season and the team trails second-place Bloomington by just four points. The top four teams in each conference earn home-ice advantage for the first round of the playoffs.
Four in Five - The Mavericks final four home games are in five nights starting on Friday vs. Wichita. Missouri hosts the Thunder on Friday and Saturday, then the Mississippi RiverKings on Sunday before hosting the Thunder in their final regular season game on Tuesday, March 22.
Road woes - The Mavericks have lost three straight road games after going 6-0-2 in their previous eight road contests. Missouri has three more road games on the schedule including another trip to south Texas during the last weekend of the regular season.
Playoff Tickets on Sale Now - The Mavericks have already punched their ticket to the 2011 Ray Miron President's Cup Playoffs, and the first two home playoff games are on sale now. Fans can purchase playoff tickets any of the following ways: online at www.Ticketmaster.com, over the phone at (800) 745-3000 or at the Independence Events Center Box Office. Should the Mavericks secure a top four seed, the first two home playoff games will be on Friday, April 1 and Saturday, April 2.
