Friday, November 19 - Missouri Mavericks at Tulsa Oilers, 7:35 p.m. CST

The Mavericks and Oilers will play a home-and-home series this weekend starting at BOK Center in Tulsa on Friday night. The teams have met just once this season, a 4-2 win for the Mavericks on November 5 at Independence Events Center. Gerry Festa stopped 27 of 29 shots in net for the Mavericks in the first game between the teams and Mike Berry earned the game-winner and added an assist in the win. The Mavericks are 6-2-2 all-time against the Oilers and the teams will play a total of nine games this season.

Thursday, November 11 - Missouri 3 at Quad City 2

The Missouri Mavericks scored all three of their goals in the first period and defeated the Quad City Mallards, 3-2, Thursday night at i wireless Center. Walker Wintoneak, Tab Lardner and Ryan Jardine all scored goals for the Mavericks who improved to 4-3-2 on the season. Goaltender Gerry Festa improved his record to 4-1-0 by stopping 14 of 16 shots.

Friday, November 12 - Missouri 2 at Wichita 3

Aaron Davis scored the game-winning goal with 1:41 remaining in the third period to give the Wichita Thunder their first ever regulation victory over the Missouri Mavericks Friday night at Intrust Bank Arena. Missouri is now 11-1-1 against the Thunder all-time, however the Thunder has won the last two contests with goals late in regulation and overtime. Simon Watson and Walker Wintoneak scored the goals for Missouri.

Saturday, November 13 - Missouri 2 vs. Fort Wayne 1

Simon Watson scored the game winning goal 2:29 into third period and added an assist as the Missouri Mavericks defeated the Fort Wayne Komets, 2-1, in front of a sold out crowd of 5,800 at Independence Events Center. Derek Pallardy scored the Mavs' first goal; Carlyle Lewis added two assists and goaltender Rob Nolan earned his first victory of the season by stopping 21 of 22 shots.

Promotions & Notes

Sellout - The Mavericks had their first sellout of the season on Saturday night in a 2-1 win over the Fort Wayne Komets. Missouri has now sold out Independence Events Center a total of 17 times including 16 sellouts in their inaugural season.

Goaltending duo - The Mavericks goaltending duo of Gerry Festa and Rob Nolan are each ranked in the top 10 among goaltenders in the CHL. Nolan is currently first in the league with a 1.94 goals-against average, and he has allowed just eight goals on 106 shots for a .925 save percentage. Festa is ranked 10th with a 2.53 goals-against average in 356 minutes of action.

US Cleaners Coat Drive - Beginning Friday, November 12 through Tuesday, December 21, the Missouri Mavericks will join forces with US Cleaners to generate as many coat and jacket donations as possible. All coats will go to benefit the Community Services League, which will help families throughout Eastern Jackson County. Please drop off your coat or jacket donations to any of the four convenient US Cleaners Dry Cleaner locations: Lee's Summit, at 705 SE Melody Lane and 605 NE Woods Chapel Road; Independence at 4804 S Noland Road; Blue Springs at 3100 Highway 7.

Hooter's Watch Parties - All season long, catch the Mavericks' road games live at Hooters next to the IEC. The Mavericks head to Tulsa on Friday night and puck drop is set for 7:35 p.m.
