Kansas City Mavericks News Release
INDEPENDENCE, Mo. - The Kansas City Mavericks announced ticketing information for the team's 10th season on Wednesday.
On Sale Dates
For the first time, the Mavericks are offering presales of full-price, single-game tickets.
Thursday, Sept. 6 - Independence residents will be eligible to get their hands on tickets starting on Sept. 6. This offer is for in-person sales only during regular box office hours, and those who wish to purchase single-game tickets on this date must show valid I.D. or mail with an Independence address and zip code.
Monday, Sept. 10 - Everyone who is signed up to the Mavericks' e-blast list will be able to purchase tickets on Sept. 10. To sign up, send your email address to Tickets@KCMavericks.com.
Wednesday, Sept. 12 - Those signed up to receive e-mail correspondence from Silverstein Eye Centers Arena will receive a presale code to purchase tickets on Sept. 12.
Saturday, Sept. 15 - Tickets go on sale to the general public at Fan Fest on Saturday, Sept. 15. Tickets can be purchased in person at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena, online at KCMavericks.com or by calling Ticketmaster at 1-800-734-3000.
Dynamic Pricing
The Mavericks will utilize dynamic pricing for the first time beginning with the upcoming season. This includes a new Corral Section in the seats above the Zamboni tunnel that will go on sale in the week leading up to a game for just $10. These tickets are based on availability and can only be purchased in-person at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena box office.
"Being our 10th season, the Year of the Fan, we're excited to offer this new ticketing promotion," said Mavericks President and General Manager Brent Thiessen. "It's a way to celebrate this anniversary and give back to the fans who have helped us through our first decade as Kansas City's hockey team. We're privileged to remain one of the premier family-affordable entertainment options in the metro."
Entering this landmark anniversary season, the Mavericks aimed to improve both game day and ticketing buying experiences. As a result, ticket prices have dropped in 22-percent of seating year-over-year from last season.
Dynamic pricing will also have an effect with five premium game dates. For Oct. 12, Dec. 31, Jan. 19, Feb. 2 and Feb. 9, single-game ticket prices will increase by $5.
Season Tickets and Mini Packs
Season tickets and mini packs remain on sale for the upcoming season, and the pricing for these plans will be unaffected by premium dates.
A new season ticket package this year is the Mavs Business Insider, which allows businesses to build their brand and increase exposure by attending Mavericks games. Each package includes four season tickets, website recognition and one dedicated, in-game mention that includes a PA read and logo on the video board. For more information, click here.
Also new this season is a half-season plan to 17 home games. This package includes ticket exchange privileges and early entry to games, among other perks.
Mini packs start at eight games and come in three options: Friday Night Ice package, Theme Nights package and Flex Mini Plan.
Friday Night Ice includes two drink vouchers per game, good for Bud Light or Pepsi products, and a free appetizer from Red Robin.
Theme Nights package allows fans to select theme nights from the 2018-19 promotional schedule to attend.
The Flex Mini Plan allows fans to pick the best eight games that fit their schedule.
