The Kalamazoo Wings have named Isaac Berky as the new broadcaster and Director of Public Relations, the team announced on Wednesday.

Berky, 27, joins the Wings from the Norfolk Admirals, where he served as the Director of Communications and Media and broadcaster during the 2017-18 season. Prior to joining the Admirals, he spent a season with the Omaha Lancers (USHL) as the Broadcaster and Director of Media Relations.

"I am really excited to have the opportunity to join a great organization like the K-Wings," said Berky. "There are some big shoes to fill but I am looking forward to getting to work and bringing every game to the great fans in Western Michigan. With the 45th season in K-Wings history approaching I cannot wait to immerse myself in the great history and tradition of the organization, as well as getting to meet and learn from all the great alumni from the last 45 years. "

"We're really excited to have Isaac on board and welcome him to Kalamazoo," said Business Operations Director Toni Daniels. "Isaac's experience in the ECHL and background make him a great fit for our organization, and the right person to be the "Voice of the Wings" moving forward."

A 2013 graduate of Adrian College in Adrian, MI, Berky served as the play-by-play voice of Bulldog hockey for online and local broadcasts while attending. He returns to Michigan after five years away including stops in New York, North Dakota, Nebraska and Virginia.
