
Fuel Reveal 2018-19 Promotional Schedule

INDIANAPOLIS - The Indy Fuel, proud ECHL affiliate of the NHL's Chicago Blackhawks and the AHL's Rockford IceHogs, unveiled Wednesday their promotional schedule for the 2018-19 season at Indiana Farmers Coliseum. The Fuel kick off their fifth anniversary season in the Circle City with an Opening Weekend doubleheader on Friday, Oct. 12 and Saturday, Oct. 13. Information regarding on-sale dates for single-game tickets will be announced soon.
The most exciting game night experience in the ECHL returns with 36 dates of unforgettable theme nights, unbeatable discount nights, special guest appearances and incredible giveaways. With something in store for every fan, the 2018-19 season promises to be the most memorable to date - while still providing the same affordable, family fun that fans have come to expect from the Fuel.
Returning for 2018-19 are several fan favorites, including Pucks & Paws (Nov. 10), the Teddy Bear Toss (Dec. 15), Hockey For Indy (Feb. 8) and the always-popular Blackhawks Night (Jan. 19) - celebrating the Fuel's NHL affiliate with a special visit from a Chicago hockey legend and an anthem performance from the one-and-only Jim Cornelison. Kids of all ages can meet some of their favorite characters on Marvel Super Hero Night (Nov. 24) and Nickelodeon Night (Dec. 29), while surprise guest appearances are in store for Netflix Night (Jan. 11) and Made In America (March 30).
In a new addition to the schedule, Indiana Farmers Coliseum will be taken over by the magical world of Harry Potter for Wizard Night (Feb. 23). The Fuel will be wearing specialty jerseys that will be a hit with wizards, witches and muggles alike, while a special guest appearance is sure to stupefy everyone in attendance!
Other highlights of the Fuel's 2018-19 home schedule include rally towel giveaways during Opening Weekend (Oct. 12), a Zach Miskovic bobblehead giveaway (Dec. 21), a visit from the DC Superheroes (March 23) and a Fuel mini-helmet giveaway as part of Fan Appreciation Night (April 5).
On top of the stacked lineup of unique theme nights, the Fuel offer a variety of weekly promotions that will help fans get the most of their visit without emptying their wallets! Fuel Do317 Nights are back for 2018-19, offering $3 beer and sodas, $1 hot dogs and $7 limited edition t-shirts on select Friday night games. The tastiest deals are saved for weekday games; guests can enjoy food and beverage specials on $2 Tuesdays, and everyone in attendance can enjoy free All-You-Can-Eat hot dogs, burgers, popcorn and nachos during each Thursday game. Finally, bring your skates and hit the ice with the Fuel after Sunday home game as a part of Family Fun Day.
