INDEPENDENCE, Missouri -The Missouri Mavericks are proud to present "MAKE MY CHRISTMAS" --giving one local family a holiday to remember!

During this giving season, the Missouri Mavericks have teamed up with some of our partners and friends to give a HUGE SURPRISE to a deserving family! This is a wonderful time of the year-- but it can also be a struggle and stressful for many households. We at the Mavericks are asking that fans nominate a family who's Christmas could use some brightening with the Mavericks Holiday Giveaway valued at over $5,000.

The Mavericks Holiday Giveaway includes: a Samsung Home Entertainment System, Including 51" HDTV, Theater Sound System and Blu-Ray Disc Player from Independence Audio/Video, two leather recliners and Custom Entertainment Center from Shocking Prices, the Century 21 All-Pro Ice Box Lounge for a premium Mavericks game, and a $100 gift card to Strikerz Entertainment Center.

HOW TO NOMINATE A FAMILY: You can nominate families by sending an email of 100 words or less topromo@missourimavericks.com . Please put "CHRISTMAS" in the subject line of the email and provide the contact information of the family you are nominating. Nominations will be accepted through December 18th and the winner will be announced at the game on December 20th.
