
Tulsa's Shane Madolora Named Oakley CHL Goaltender of the Week

GLENDALE, AZ (December 10, 2013) -The Central Hockey League announced today that Tulsa Oiler's goaltender Shane Madolora has been named the Oakley Central Hockey League Goaltender of the Week for the period ending December 8, 2013.

The Salinas, California native won three starts on three consecutive days beating the Arizona Sundogs on Friday, the Wichita Thunder on Saturday and then the Sundogs again on Sunday. Madolora stopped 87 of 94 shots over the weekend (.926 save percentage). His best performance may have been Saturday's 32-save effort in Wichita against the rival Thunder.
Madolora is tied for second in the league with 11 wins on the season and is 25-25-3 in his year-long tenure with the Oilers.
