Kansas City Mavericks News Release
INDEPENDENCE, Missouri - The Missouri Mavericks announced this morning the Central Hockey League franchise has activated forward Ryan Jardine and defenseman Brad Good off of injured reserve. Jardine had been placed on the 30-day injured reserve with an upper body injury and inactive since January 8 against the Quad City Mallards. Good missed only three games due to injury.
"Jardine was brought in this season to help lead this hockey club both on and off of the ice," said Mavericks' Head Coach Scott Hillman. "We have missed him tremendously on the ice but in his absence some others have had a chance to play more minutes which should prove to make us stronger now that he is back. His teammates are very excited to have him back and feel very confident that due to his work ethic and attitude he will be at 100 percent come time for the playoffs."
The Mavs also announced rookie forward Randy McNaught has been placed on 10-day injured reserve. Goaltender Jakub Macek has been placed on goaltender injured reserve. Goaltender B.J. O'Brien has been re-assigned by the Mavs' AHL Affiliate, the Chicago Wolves after being re-called on an emergency basis last weekend.
