Mavericks Full Western Conference Semifinals Schedule Released

INDEPENDENCE, MISSOURI - The Missouri Mavericks will face the Allen Americans of Allen, Texas in the Western Conference Semifinals (Round 2) of the ECHL Kelly Cup Playoffs beginning this Friday, Apr. 29 at 7:05p.m. at Silverstein Eye Centers Arena in Independence, MO. KC's local pro hockey team swept the Quad City Mallards in the opening round of the post-season- their first Round 1 sweep since 2012.

The reigning ECHL Kelly Cup Champion Allen Americans defeated the Idaho Steelheads with a 4-3 Round 1 series to earn their place in the conference semifinals with the Mavs.

The Mavericks went 6-4-0-0 against the Americans during their 2015-16 regular season series.

The Mavs finished the regular season atop the league with 109 points, earning them the team the Henry J. Brabham Cup as regular-season point champions and home ice advantage throughout the playoffs.

The full Round 2 schedule will progress as follows, a best-of-seven series with Games 5 through 7 being played only if necessary.

Tickets for all four potential Missouri Mavericks home games in Round 2 are on sale now at Ticketmaster.com and in-person at the Silverstein Eye Centers Arena box office. Game 2 (Saturday, Apr. 30) will be broadcast live on KSMO-TV.
