This will be the second time the RailHawks visit Clarke Field in 2015. The RailHawks earned a point in the second game of the Spring Season last April. Spanish star Nacho Novo (currently seven goals in the NASL) and Lance Laing (currently six goals in the NASL) locked the score 1-1.

The RailHawks are looking for a victory after coming off of a Wednesday defeat to Jacksonville Armada. After Jacksonville scored back-to-back goals midway through the first half, the RailHawks fought relentlessly to create a comeback, but ultimately lost by a score of 3-0.

Edmonton is coming off a 1-1 draw against Minnesota United at NSC Stadium. The Loons scored a penalty in the second half, but Edmonton's Tomi Ameobi answered by sinking a shot 20 minutes before the end of regulation.

The RailHawks will return to WakeMed Soccer Park on Saturday, August 22nd at 7:30 pm to host Raúl and the New York Cosmos.

RailHawks Notes:

Who to Watch

After missing two games due to injury, Tiyi Shipalane has provided a spark for the offense in his return. Shipalane created the attack that led to Mark Anderson's goal against the Rowdies and fired off several shots in the next match against the Jacksonville Armada. The South African midfielder has had a fantastic season and is first on the team in assists with four on the year.

Coach's Quote

"We are looking to get a good result against FC Edmonton," said RailHawks Head Coach Colin Clark. "We are disappointed we didn't perform up to everyone's expectations in Jacksonville, and we are now looking to bounce back and play good-quality soccer this weekend."
