HARRISON, N.J. - For the third time in 2018, the New York Red Bulls (10-4-2, 32 pts) faceoff against New York City FC (9-4-4, 31 pts) on Sunday at Yankee Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. ET with coverage on FS1, Fox Sports GO and New York Red Bulls Radio in English and Spanish on TuneIn.
New York Red Bulls Radio goes live at 6:30 p.m. ET with triHonda Countdown to Kickoff, hosted by Matt Harmon and Steve Jolley. Ernesto Motta will carry the Spanish play-by-play broadcast, beginning at 7 p.m.
Sunday's matchup features two of the top three squads in the Eastern Conference. The Red Bulls and NYC have already faced off twice this season, once in MLS play and once in the U.S. Open Cup. The Red Bulls have outscored NYC, 8-0, in two matches with seven different goal scorers and two different goalies with clean sheets. Overall, the Red Bulls own a 8-3-1 mark against NYC across all competitions.
New York's current run of form is one of the best in MLS. The Red Bulls have won three in a row and are unbeaten in nine of the last 10 matches (7-1-2). During the stretch, New York has outscored their opponents, 20-8 and has tallied four clean sheets.
The Red Bulls have fared well on the road this season, owning a 4-3-1 mark away from Red Bull Arena. Seven of New York's eight matches on the road have been decided by one goal or less.
Luis Robles recorded his 54th career league clean sheet against Toronto FC to move into sole possession of 11th all-time in league history. He has recorded a shutout in back-to-back matches and hasn't allowed a goal in 193 minutes in league play. Robles also tallied his 89th career win, which ranks 10th all-time in MLS.
