LAFC Announce Time Change for Saturday Home Match against Orlando City SC
July 5, 2018 - Major League Soccer (MLS)
Los Angeles FC News Release
In conjunction with Major League Soccer, Los Angeles Football Club (LAFC) announced today that the home match against Orlando City SC at Banc of California Stadium on Saturday, July 7, has been moved to 8 p.m. PT due to the excessive heat forecast that projects temperatures exceeding 100 degrees in the Los Angeles area.
Originally scheduled for 1:30 p.m. PT, the new start time will allow the game to be played at night when the temperature will be lower on the field and in the stands.
Saturday's match against the Orlando will be televised nationally live on FS1.
LAFC extended its unbeaten streak to four matches following a 2-2 draw on Tuesday night against the Houston Dynamo. The Black & Gold currently sit in third place in the Western Conference with a 9-4-4 (31 points) record.
