Georgetown, KY - The Greenville Triumph will start its Labor Day weekend with a 7:00 PM matchup against Lexington SC in Toyota Stadium.

WHAT TO WATCH FOR

Greenville just finished a two-match week, besting Chattanooga 2-1 on Wednesday but falling to Union Omaha 2-1 on Saturday in a chippy rivalry match. Forward, Jacob Labovitz, notched a goal in each match and Lucas Coutinho dazzled with a volley against the Red Wolves. Grateful for the recovery time, the team will travel up to Kentucky to play tenth-place, Lexington in an rare Friday night match. This will be Greenville's 25th match played, and the Triumph currently sit sixth in the table with a 10-8-6 record.

Despite its most recent loss Greenville has been on a successful streak, only dropping points in two out of their last seven competitions. Head Coach John Harkes will have his pick of the 18 since much of the squad has returned to better health. However, veteran defender Tyler Polak continues to recover from a leg injury he suffered earlier this month and will be absent from tomorrow's lineup. Greenville will face former players, Don Smart and Nico Brown, now in a new shade of green. Smart and Brown have been steadfast for the expansion-side club, both within the top-three leading scorers for the team.

Lexington secured its seventh win of the season against Richmond last Saturday and has recorded 11 losses and six draws in its inaugural season. As Greenville comes off a two-match week, Lexington will be entering one, with divided focus to Northern Colorado on Wednesday, September 6th.
