ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to action Saturday when it travels to face Toronto FC at BMO Field. The match is set to kick-off at 7:30 p.m. EST and will be regionally broadcast on Bally Sports Southeast.

Atlanta holds a 3-4-4 all-time record against Toronto FC: 2-1-3 at home and 1-3-1 on the road in the series. This is the first of two meetings between the clubs in 2022 as Toronto visits Mercedes-Benz Stadium on Sept. 10 (7:30 p.m. EST, Bally Sports South). In the last meeting on Oct. 16, 2021, Atlanta earned its first win at BMO Field in club history with a 2-0 victory behind goals from Luiz Araújo and Marcelino Moreno.
Atlanta is coming off a 2-0 win on June 19 against Inter Miami CF. Luiz Araújo and Josef Martínez each tallied a goal and an assist while the team kept its third clean sheet of the MLS season in goalkeeper Rocco Ríos Novo's MLS debut.
Josef Martínez leads the club with four career goals against Toronto. The forward has scored three goals and added three assists in six MLS starts (seven appearances) this season.
Toronto is coming off a 2-0 loss away to New York Red Bulls on June 18 in MLS play and a 4-0 home win against Montreal on June 22 in the Canadian Championship to secure its spot in the final. Ayo Akinola scored a brace while Jesús Jiménez and Alejandro Pozuelo each added a goal.
