ATLANTA - Atlanta United returns to action Saturday as it hosts Nashville SC at Mercedes-Benz Stadium. The match, presented by AT&T, is set to kick-off at 3:30 p.m. ET and will be regionally broadcast on Bally Sports Southeast.

Atlanta owns an all-time record of 2-1-0 against Nashville, 1-0-0 at home and 1-1-0 on the road in the series. This is the first of three meetings between the teams this season, followed by matches at Nashville on Thursday, July 8 (8:30 p.m., Bally Sports Southeast) and in Atlanta on Saturday, Aug. 28 (3:30 p.m., Univision).
Atlanta sits in fifth place in the Eastern Conference standings and is coming off a 1-1 draw at Seattle Sounders FC on May 23. Josef Martinez scored his second goal of the season from the penalty spot in the 86th minute, the 17th penalty kick goal of his MLS career.
Atlanta continues to lead MLS in possession through six matches at 60.71 %, while the team's passing accuracy in the opponent's half ranks second at 81.02 %.
Atlanta has taken nine points in head coach Gabriel Heinze's first six MLS matches, the most points through six MLS matches of any Atlanta head coach.
Nashville enters the weekend in fourth place in the Eastern Conference standings and is one of three unbeaten teams remaining in MLS. Randall Leal scored in a 1-0 win at home against Austin FC on May 23 as Nashville recorded its fourth consecutive clean sheet.
