ATLANTA - Atlanta United 2 returns to action on Wednesday, Oct. 3 when it faces Tampa Bay Rowdies at Coolray Field. The match is scheduled to kick off at 7:00 p.m. EST and will be streamed live on ESPN+.

Atlanta United 2 and Tampa Bay Rowdies will face each other for the third and final time in the 2018 USL regular season Wednesday night. Tampa Bay is in 11th place in the Eastern Conference and four points behind the final playoff spot.

ATL UTD 2 lost 4-1 to Louisville City FC Saturday night at Coolray Field, though Romario Williams scored his second goal of the USL season.

Tampa last played Wednesday, Sept. 26 against Indy Eleven at Lucas Oil Stadium. The Rowdies lost 2-0 as Indy scored a goal in each half to improve its playoff positioning.

ATL UTD 2 and Tampa played to a scoreless draw in the teams' first meeting on June 2. A goal from Sebastián Guenzatti was the difference in Tampa's 1-0 win in the second match Sept. 15. This is Atlanta's fourth-straight home match in a run of seven consecutive at Coolray Field to close out the 2018 USL regular season.
