Billy Forbes Named to USL Team of the Week

PHOENIX - Phoenix Rising midfielder Billy Forbes was named to the USL Team of the Week for Week 29 of the 2018 USL season the league announced today. On Saturday evening, Forbes came in as a substitute and scored the game-winning goal in the club's 2-0 win over Saint Louis FC. He also notched two key passes during his time on the pitch.

It's the second time Forbes has been recognized by the league this season. He was a Team of the Week honorable mention in Week 6. This marks the third straight week a Phoenix Rising player has garnered Team of the Week honors.

Phoenix Rising returns home this Saturday to take on Reno 1868 FC. The match kicks off at 7:30 p.m. and the first 2,500 fans will receive a pink PRFC breast cancer awareness shirt courtesy of Simon Med Imaging. Tickets remain but are limited. Fans can purchase them at PHXRisingFC.com.
