Marvel Comics Characters Spider-Man and Wolverine to Headline Lynx Superheroes Night Saturday

MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL - Appearances from iconic Marvel Comics characters Spider-Man and Wolverine will highlight Superheroes Night this Saturday when the Minnesota Lynx take on the Phoenix Mercury at Target Center. As part of the fun, the first 1,000 kids, 14-and-under will receive a complimentary Lynx superhero bandana. All fans in attendance will have an opportunity to meet with the Marvel Comics heroes.
Spider-Man and Wolverine will be available in the Lynx Party Zone for pictures and all fans in attendance will receive a Wolverine hologram card. Everyday heroes such as EMT's, firefighters, nurses, and policemen and women will also be recognized throughout Saturday's game. One row of fans will also be awarded tickets to see Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen at the Great Clips IMAX Theatre located at the Minnesota Zoo.
Saturday's Superheroes Night is the second of six theme nights on Minnesota's 17-game home schedule. Upcoming promotions include Minnesota Idol Night on Tuesday, July 7 vs. Washington, Lynx Go Hollywood on Tuesday, July 28 vs. Los Angeles and 80's Night on Saturday, August 1 vs. Phoenix.
