Mark Nemec Returns to Orlando

Orlando, FL - The Orlando Solar Bears, proud affiliate of the NHL's Minnesota Wild and Toronto Maple Leafs and AHL's Iowa Wild and Toronto Marlies, announced today that they have agreed to terms with defenseman Mark Nemec.

Nemec (6-4, 209 lbs.) joined the Solar Bears for their final six games of the 2012-13 season, earning two assists and seven penalty minutes. Prior to turning pro, he played four seasons (2008-13) for of the University of Maine Black Bears. As a senior last season, Nemec served as the team's captain while scoring two goals and adding two assists for four points. The Rouses Point, NY, native played in 137 games in his collegiate career, notching 17 points on five goals and 12 assists while logging 121 PIM.
