Marauders Top Cardinals 5-4

Bradenton, FL- The Marauders (57-55, 19-25) topped the Palm Beach Cardinals (46-65, 14-29) in 11 innings by a final of 5-4. Kevin Kramer (3-for-6, 2B, 3 RBI) hit a walk-off RBI single with two out in the bottom of the eleventh to give Bradenton the win. Thomas Spitz (1-for-5, HR) hit a solo homer in the top of the first to give Palm Beach a quick 1-0 lead. But Kramer hit an RBI double to tie the game at 1 in the bottom half of the inning. The Cardinals answered in the top of the second on an RBI double by Dylan Tice (2-for-4, 2B, RBI, R). Taylor Gushue (1-for-5, 2 BRI) gave Bradenton a 3-2 lead on a two-run single in the fourth. Palm Beach tied the game at 3 in the top of the fifth on an RBI groundout by Juan Herrera (0-for-5, RBI). Kramer made it 4-3 Bradenton with an RBI single in the seventh. The Cardinals tied the game in the ninth on a solo blast by Orlando Olivera (1-for-5, HR). Marauders lefty Stephen Tarpley went 6.2 innings allowing 6 hits, 3 runs (all earned), and no walks with 6 strikeouts.
