Bradenton Marauders News Release

Bradenton, Fla. - The Bradenton Marauders will host an Independence Day celebration presented by the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine on Tuesday, July 3. The Marauders host the Palm Beach Cardinals, the High-A affiliate of the St. Louis Cardinals, at 6:30 p.m. Gates open at 5:00 p.m.

The first 1,500 fans through the gates will receive a free Independence Day t-shirt presented by LECOM. Fans won't be the only ones receiving patriotic and festive apparel. The Marauders will wear unique jerseys and caps for the game. The red, white, and blue jerseys will be available for auction through the LiveSource App and inside the ballpark, with winners invited onto the field after the game to receive their jersey and have it signed.

The LiveSource app can be downloaded in the Apple App Store and via Google Play. Prospective bidders who download the app must register with a credit card as a method of payment. Once registered, fans seeking to bid should set their location in the app as "Bradenton, FL" to view the Marauders' auction. The Marauders reserve the right to remove an item from silent auction bidding and hold a live auction between two competing bidders near the close of the auction to resolve closely alternating bids between in-person bidders.

Proceeds from the jersey auction will benefit the Goodwill Manasota Veterans Service Program. The program helps veterans return to civilian life. Services offered through the program help veterans reintegrate into the work force while helping to identify additional resources and services to assist in the process of re-acclimating.

"Goodwill Manasota is so proud to be able to honor and contribute to the men and women who served our country," Margie Genter, Vice President Mission Services said. "We thank the Marauders for providing us with this wonderful opportunity to let the community know how they can help Veterans and their family members re-acclimate to civilian life. We are excited about the event on July 3 and invite everyone to stop by our table to hear more about the Goodwill Veterans Service Program."

Zambelli Fireworks will put on their largest display at LECOM Park this season after the game. The spectacular postgame fireworks are sponsored by Budweiser. Season ticket holders, All-You-Can-Eat Plan B holders, and any group ticket purchasers will be invited onto the field to view the fireworks.

Fans will want to arrive early to the game to experience a parachute demo by the Para-Commandos. The Para-Commandos will descend into LECOM Park during the performance of the national anthem.

The LECOM Park box office hours are Tuesday-Friday non-gamedays from 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. On gamedays the box office will be open on weekdays from 11:00 a.m. until the end of the game and on Saturdays from 3:30 until the end of the game. The box office will open two hours prior to Sunday games and 10:30 a.m. games.
