Bradenton Marauders News Release

Robbie Grossman is the minor league leader in both runs (98) and walks (93). He is set to become the first minor league player since Nick Swisher in 2004 to hit the century mark in both categories. With one more run, Grossman will also set the record for most runs in a season by a Class-A Advanced player in the Pirates organization, topping the 98 scored by Pat Magness for the Lynchburg Hillcats in the 2005 season. Records date to 1980 when Baseball Reference began distinguishing between Class-A and Class A-Advanced. Grossman has also reached base in 26 consecutive games. His 37 game streak earlier this season is still standing as the longest in the FSL this year.
