RED HOT DESALVO: Dan DeSalvo continued his impressive start to his AHL career this week. He extended his point streak to six games with the game winning goal in Sunday's win over Rockford. It was his second game winning goal since joining the Moose and he now has 12 points (4G, 8A) in 15 games. During his current points streak he has two goals and five assists for seven points.
RIGHT BACK ON TOP: Brenden Kichton was re-assigned by the Jets prior to puck drop on Sunday and he made an immediate impact in his one game back this week with the Moose. He scored a goal and had two assists for a three point game on Sunday versus Rockford. He leads the team in scoring with 41 points (11G, 30A) this season. He is currently on a six game point streak with the Moose scoring four goals and adding six assists for 11 points during that stretch.
OFF TO A STRONG START: Brendan Lemieux has been nothing short of impressive in his first few games of his pro career. He scored for the second time in as many days on Sunday. He has two goals and one assist in his last two games for his first three points with the Moose.
MULTI-POINT GAMES: Scott Kosmachuk finished off the week strong posting back-to-back multi-point games to end the week. In his two games against Rockford this past weekend he has one goal and three assists for four points.
MORE ON KOSMACHUK: Kosmachuk gained valuable experience by playing with the Winnipeg Jets for eight games during the month of March. Since returning to the Moose, Kosmachuk has recorded four goals and three assists for seven points in six games.
STRONG ADDITIONS: Several new faces to the Moose lineup have made an impact as the regular season nears its end. 18-year old forward Jansen Harkins has jumped right into the Moose lineup and has recorded two assists in his first four AHL games. Forward Brandon Denham recorded the first three points of his AHL career with a goal and two assists this past week. Sean Escobedo has been impressive addition from the ECHL. The defenceman has five points (1G, 4A) in eight games since joining the Moose.
MOOSE PLAY FINAL HOME GAMES OF SEASON
The Moose wrapped up the home portion of their schedule this week by hosting the Milwaukee Admirals and Rockford IceHogs. Manitoba has two road games remaining on their regular season schedule.
Tuesday, Apr. 5, 2016: Manitoba 2 vs. Milwaukee 4 The Moose welcomed the top team in the Central Division and once again played a tight game against them. Chase De Leo pulled the Moose within one late in the game but Milwaukee responded with an empty netter. Brandon Denham recorded his first career AHL goal for the Moose. (Full game recap)
Wednesday, Apr. 6, 2016: Manitoba 2 vs. Milwaukee 5 The second period cost the Moose in this match as Milwaukee scored four unanswered goals in the middle frame to pull away. Andrew MacWilliam recorded his first goal in a Moose uniform while Darren Kramer continued his career year by scoring his seventh of the season. (Full game recap)
Saturday, Apr. 9, 2016: Manitoba 5 vs. Rockford 1 Deadlocked after two periods, the Moose exploded offensively in the third period scoring four goals to pull out a big victory. Brendan Lemieux scored his first career AHL goal and Sean Escobedo scored his first in a Moose uniform. Eric Comrie was spectacular in net making 32 saves and being named the game's first star. Sunday, Apr. 10, 2016: Manitoba 5 vs. Rockford 4 The Moose rallied from a 4-2 deficit to pull out a big win in their final home game of the regular season. The win gave the Moose a season series sweep 4-0-0-0 over the IceHogs. Chase De Leo and Brenden Kichton led the way with each posting a three point afternoon. (Full game recap)

The Moose will wrap up their season with a couple of games in the Lone Star State. First they will face the San Antonio Rampage on Friday night before heading to face the Texas Stars in the regular season finale on Saturday night in Austin.
CHASE DE LEO
Chase De Leo continued his strong play by registering at least a point in three out of his four games this past week. He wrapped the week with a three point effort against the Rockford IceHogs. His two goals, 18th & 19th of the season, give him the current team lead in that category. He was named the Recycle Everywhere Rookie of the Year for the Moose prior to Sunday's home game.
