
Defenseman Kevin Gravel and Forward Nic Dowd Return to Reign

Ontario, CA - The Ontario Reign, proud American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate of the Los Angeles Kings of the National Hockey League (NHL), announced today that defenseman Kevin Gravel and forward Nic Dowd have been reassigned to the Reign by the Kings.
Gravel, 24, skated in five games with the Kings this season including his NHL debut on February 11 against the New York Islanders. The Kingsford, Michigan, native has seven goals and 13 assists for 20 points in 55 games with the Reign this season. Gravel was selected in the fifth round (148th overall) of the 2010 NHL Entry Draft.
Dowd, 25, also skated in five games with the Kings, picking up two penalty minutes. The Huntsville, Alabama, product made his NHL debut on March 22 against the Minnesota Wild. Dowd currently ranks second on the Reign with 47 points (13 goals, 34 assists) in 57 games. He was selected in the seventh round (198th overall) in the 2009 NHL Entry Draft.
