Goals:
- While on the powerplay, Brenden Kitchton passes it cross-ice to Jake Baker who takes a slap shot from the point that beats Kevin Poulin at 12:24 of the first period.
- Aaron Harstad takes a shot from the point which is deflected in front by Darren Kramer past Poulin at 12:46 of the second period.
- Andrew MacWilliam takes a slap shot from the point and the rebound is grabbed by John Albert jumps who wrists it past Poulin at 19:46 of the second period.
- Mitchell Heard takes a shot from the circle, grabs his own rebound and wrists it past Connor Hellebuyck at 8:20 of the third period.
- Drew Shore streaks into the Moose zone and makes a wraparound attempt. The rebound is picked up by Kenny Agostino who beats Hellebuyck at 9:47 of the third period.
Highlights/Notes:
- Connor Hellebuyck had his consecutive shutout streak end at 169:34. He picked up his third straight win.
- Defenceman Jake Baker scored his first career AHL goal. He has played seven games with the Moose this season.
- Brant Harris recorded his first point as a member of the Moose with an assist.
- Brenden Kichton recorded at least a point for the second consecutive game. He has three goals and four points in his last four games. He is now the leading scorer on the Moose with nine goals and 25 assists for 34 points.
- Darren Kramer scored for the second straight game and he now has three goals in his last four games. His goal in the game sets a new personal career high in goals in a season with six.
- Ben Walker recorded an assist for the second straight game.
- John Albert scored his 12th goal of the season. He has one goal and two assists for three points in his last two games.
- Patrice Cormier recorded his third assist in his last two games. He matched his career high with 17 assists in a season.
- This was the third time this season the Moose have swept a two-game series against their opponents.
The Moose host the Charlotte Checkers on Saturday, Mar. 26 at the MTS Centre. Puck drop is scheduled for 7 p.m.
