Goals:

- Charlotte's Derek Arnold passes cross-ice to Erik Karlsson who wrists it past Eric Comrie at 5:39 of the first period.

- Following a turnover, Justin Shugg passes out front to Derek Ryan who outwaits Comrie and beats him five-hole 54 seconds into the second period.

- Blair Jones passes the puck back to Derek Arnold who is open at the face-off dot, he beats Comrie with a wrist shot at 1:28 of the second period.

- Ben Walker streaks down the left side and takes a hard wrist shot from the face-off dot that beats John Muse at 18:19 of the second period.

- Scott Kosmachuk makes a drop pass to Dan DeSalvo who shoots on net. Kosmachuk drives the net and fires the rebound past Muse at 19:39 of the second period.

- During a scramble out front of the Moose net Andrew Poturalski attempts a wraparound that goes to the stick of Erik Karlsson who beats Connor Hellebuyck for his second goal of the night at 2:08 of the third period.

- Following a turnover, Derek Ryan makes a drop pass for Sergey Tolchinsky who shoots the puck past the right shoulder of Hellebuyck at 7:07 of the third period.

- Kyle Hagel scores into an empty Moose net from just inside the blue line at 19:06 of the third period.

Highlights/Notes:

- Moose forward Ben Walker scored his first goal in a Moose uniform. He is now on a three game point streak having scored a goal and two assists for three points.

- Darren Kramer extended his point streak to three games with an assist. He has scored three goals and one assist for four points in his last five games.

- Defencemen Andrew MacWilliam & Aaron Harstad each recorded an assist for the second straight game.

- Scott Kosmachuk scored in his first game back in the Moose lineup since being re-assigned by the Winnipeg Jets. His 15 goals put him second on the Moose. He has scored three goals in his last four games for Manitoba.

- Eric Comrie allowed three goals on nine shots before being replaced by Connor Hellebuyck who made 15 saves the rest of the way.

- The loss snapped Manitoba's two game win streak.

- The Moose now have a 2-4-1-0 record against the Checkers in the season series.

The Moose will play the eighth and final match of the season series against the Charlotte Checkers on Monday, Mar. 28 at the MTS Centre. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
